The Marin Actors' Workshop presents the classic theater-noir production of "Petrified Forest". The NTC Guest Artist Series welcomes Terry McGovern and a full cast back for a second production on our stage. The play, from 1935, focuses on three people - Alan, a drifter, Gabby, the waitress who longs to leave the desert, and Mantee, the gangster on the run. They come together at the Black Mesa Station with life changing results. Terry updates the play to bring it to our current sensibilities, but keeps the story and heart clear. This play is right down Marin Actors' Workshop's road with a professionalism well noted in their award-winning play of last year, "Humble Boy."
