Theater Lights


The most basic need we have for volunteers is for Front of House (FOH) for shows. This involves ushering, selling concessions, and (for special events where we get an ABC License) selling wine & beer. We usually ask for TWO volunteers for a regular theatrical performance, and THREE for special events.

Please ask about our Training Sessions for House Manager and Box Office positions. We hold them every few months. Once you have taken the training, we welcome you to sign up for those positions. Please do NOT sign up unless you have taken the training.

All four (or five) volunteers get a FREE SEAT to the performance, although that seat may end being a folding chair if the performance is sold out, and obviously we ask that you sit close to the lobby to be ready promptly at intermission.

Signing up can be done on-line. Just go to the event's page on the website and scroll all the way to the bottom. You will see three buttons which will take you to the separate sign-up website pages for House Manager, Box Office, and FOH respectively. Enter your name and email and phone number and we will contact you nearer the event to confirm.

NTC is a 100% volunteer company, and we are very grateful for any help you can give us!
